Co-Editor in Ripon

What are you going to do:

•  Attend Project Meetings, research contributors/topics for publications;
• Arrange and undertake interviews;
• Transcribe interviews/roundtables;
• Format editorial copy to house style prior to editing;
• Manage and update flat plans;
• Proofread copy;
• Liaise with design on the creation of the magazines;
• Write magazine welcome page for each issue;
• Maintain magazine flat plans;
• Write and proof press releases and other copy formagazines/online channels;
• Upload publications to online channels and promote these via social media;
• Ensure magazine websites are up to date;
• Manage client roadshows, from conception to write up in the magazine;
• Attend, transcribe and write up conferences/awards, roadshows & roundtables;
• Liaise with clients regarding artwork, editorial and deadlines;
• Allocate time to researching industry news, current topics and external events.
