Thomas Cook Airlines UK are seeking applications for FRMS Specialist to join the Flight Operations team based at Manchester / Frankfurt Thomas Cook offices.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

 

  •  Develop and deliver FRMS protocols and procedures to ensure FRMS principals are core to normal business functions (and integrated into crew planning team procedures)
  • Identify and propose FRMS policies that are industry best practice
  • Prepare SCAG FRMS documentation highlighting GAS sector performance against SPIs, and any identified emerging risks; assist in identifying mitigating solutions.
  • Prepare FRM WG supporting data as required by working group chair.
  • When appropriate, support FTLC processes.
  •  Oversee preview of planned flying operation (seasonally) to identify potential fatigue risks associated with crew pairings, and agree mitigations with stakeholders
  •  To help assess viability, and if appropriate, develop FRM tools for employees to refer to for personal use.
  • Skills, know-how and experience

    Must have:

  •  Excellent understanding of FRMS principals and regulations
  •  Previous experience in Flight Ops management or similar environment
  •  Excellent communications skills
  •  

    Preferred:

  •  Previous FRMS or other risk based experience
  •  Basic understanding of Industrial Relations principals and stakeholder management
  • Technical / professional qualifications:

  •  Knowledge of Fatigue Risk principals
  • Location:  CPH, FRA or MAN with travel inbetween
