About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Process Improvement Manager to join the Finance team based at our Head Office in Bradford.

You will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager for Finance Projects and will work as part of the Project team. You will lead and deliver Finance projects, supporting the simplifying and speeding up our end to end processes and implementing new technologies. Providing an effective and professional communication link between our Morrisons Finance stakeholders, our outsourced partner, Finance Operations and other stakeholder groups, ensuring we meet our targets
and project deadlines both on a daily and strategic level.

As a Finance Process Improvement Manager within Finance you will be required to do the following:
  • Lead and ensure all project deliverables are met and build professional relationships with business partners including Finance Operations, Commercial, Procurement and Technology
  • Communicate complex processes / changes effectively and professionally
  • Lead in the planning and prioritising of daily workload of the team and project work managing a number of projects at any one time
  •  Manage a small team of project analysts and be accountable for their development and career progression
  • Ensure projects are tracked against timescales and all changes to procedures are managed effectively
About You
 To be a successful Finance Process Improvement Manager at Morrisons you will have:
  • Experience in using continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Lean or Six Sigma

  • In depth experience of project methodologies, implementations and testing, process mapping 

  • Experience in change management and delivery of complex projects in a fast paced rapidly changing environment

  • Good understanding of Operational Management/ Operational Excellence

  • Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
