About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Specialist - Engagement to join the team at our Head Office in Bradford.


In this role you will support the Senior People Manager – Culture & Engagement to design, develop and deliver an effective colleague engagement plan within our stores and sites.  You will plan and engage key stakeholders to deliver activities that positively respond to colleague and customer feedback in order to motivate our colleagues and improve their working environment.


Accountabilities:


  • Analyse and summarise data and feedback received from the colleague Your say surveys/listening groups.

  • Provide the tools, guidance and support for line managers and people managers in relation to key engagement activities such as your say survey and forums’, recognition and trade engagement plan.

  • Look at ways to improve the working environment for our colleagues.

  • Act as a conscious and ambassador of our values to ensure all colleagues lead by example.

  • Project manage the Your Say survey & reporting.

•  Develop activity across the different functions to recognise high performing colleagues and teams.



About You
 

We will be looking for candidates who possess the following skill set:


Skills:

  • The ability to develop activity that can be translated into operational business plans.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written, including tailoring messages with impact for different audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service approach.

  • Good analytical thinking.

  • Strong excel/google sheets skills.

  • Creative thinker – strong at ideas generation and translating into practical yet engaging solutions at scale.

  • An understanding of our business would be an advantage.

  • Resilience and the ability to listen and respond in a timely manner.

 

Experience:


  • Experience of delivering under pressure and in situations of ambiguity.

  • Experience of delivering cultural change programmes.

  • Experience of end to end project management.
