We are recruiting for a Senior People Manager - Reward based at our head office in West Yorkshire. Reporting into the Head of Reward, you will be the owner of all regular reward activity for the Group. You will define, develop and implement the reward plan through significant partnership with colleagues, the People leadership team, and the Group People director.
Here are some accountabilities for the role:
Customer (internal and external)
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Group to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of business objectives, roles and responsibilities, issues etc.
Drive and deliver a customer focused, pro active and solutions focused reward service to the business and colleagues
Pro actively track performance of reward elements, anticipating issues and offering solutions
Ensure that all annual & standard remuneration processes are delivered clearly, accurately and within the required time frame and budget
Colleague
Continually listening to colleagues and understanding impact of the reward plan for all colleagues
Work with colleagues to design reward elements and processes that engage with our colleagues driving performance and the desired behaviors
Ensure that colleagues are treated fairly and accurately in all our reward processes and that they are clear, easy to follow and well communicated
Operational
Continually manage implementation and ongoing maintenance of the overall organisation design process, encompassing job evaluation, grading structures, job families, and bench marking.
Design, develop and implement Reward plan in partnership with all Group business divisions.
Ensure that remuneration in all forms is bench marked against industry comparators ensuring we attract and retain the right skills for the right cost.
Drive improved understanding of the reward package at all levels
Support reward and benefits project work, and broader business- wide projects as required.
Continually analysing and interpreting data identifying opportunities for process improvement and simplification.
Drive innovation and best practice through a network of professional internal and external contacts
Sales, Profit and Cash
Manage significant budgets (often £30m+)
Ensure consistent design/alignment of reward processes that reward the right activity that impact effectively on the company performance indicators
