Role profile
The US Senior Sales Role is a new role, based in the UK office but with the expectation of travel to the US. Objectives are to maintain & strengthen relationships with existing clients whilst also developing opportunities for multi-channel content-driven marketing packages thereby increase their annual spend with AvBuyer. Also, and crucially, to develop new clients who may not currently be spending with AvBuyer.
Reporting to: Sales Director (UK office)
Working hours: Flexible Part time and Full time available (This role focus on the US market so we are normally open till 7.30pm GMT).
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls
- Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
- Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
- Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
