We are looking for an intern to gain 3 months of experience within the FinTech industry with potential to stay on as permanent. The Engineer Intern will be working in both a lightly technical and business savvy arena, delivering first class service and technical support to Eze Castle clients, through the highest standards of customer service, efficiency, knowledge and integrity.

35 - 40 hours per week
Between £11.00 and £14.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • Builds rapport and elicit problem details from Support Desk customers
  • Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriate team
  • Applies diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
  • Follows document procedure to troubleshoot, triage and resolve issues
  • Identifies and learn appropriate software and hardware used and support
    by the organization
  • Tests fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved
  • Performs post-resolution follow-ups to help requests
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • • Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Microsoft Office 2007-2016
  • • Familiarity with various malware and anti-spyware tools
  • • Troubleshooting Desktops/Laptops/Mobile devices/Printers/Fax Machines/Scanners/Copiers
  • • Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision
  • • Ability to work under a moderate noise level (i.e. working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers)
  • • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines (including late nights and weekends)
  • • Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary
  • • Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures
  • • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components
  • • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
