Senior Technology Manager - Programmes in Bradford

We’re recruiting for a Senior Technology Manager to lead major programmes of work across various teams at our Support Centre in Bradford, with initial focus in Supply Chain and Logistics.

You’ll be leading programme governance and delivery assurance to the Technology portfolio. To be a success in this role you’ll need to have strong experience managing large scale programmes, managing direct and indirect teams, excellent stakeholder influence and good understanding of different project management frameworks.

In the role you’ll be accountable for things like this;

• Leading key programme delivery critical to Morrisons portfolio

• Leading and developing a team of specialists to ensure the function delivers

• Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships   

• Defining and updating project management processes and standards

• Defining and implementing project and programme quality

• Engaging the wider project management community to enable delivery excellence

You’ll need skills and experience like this;

• Relevant Portfolio / Programme / Project qualifications e.g. P30, Prince2, Agile, APMP

• Previous Programme Management delivery including end-to-end lifecycle and commercial management

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with challenging stakeholders and the ability to influence at a senior level

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience of Atlassian suite of tools is desirable but not essential

• You’ll also need to be happy to get stuck in a hands on role as well as providing strong leadership to fellow project managers

• Strong track record of delivering using multiple suppliers.
