Role: ID Unit Coordinator (8 months Fixed Term Contract)

 

Location: Hangar 1, Manchester Airport

 

Working Hours: 37.5

 

Job Purpose: This role is responsible for ensuring the effective organisation and delivery of Airport ID’s  for all relevant staff

  

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Accurate inputting of data into highly complex systems
  • Able to follow detailed and lengthy procedures which are bespoke to  ten different airport bases
  • Create project plans for delivery of IDs in timely manner in line with operational demands
  • Escalate and resolve complex cases in liaison with the airport ID teams and relevant Thomas Cook management teams
  • Develop strong  external relationships with the airport ID teams and employee referees
  • Interrogate data to identify gaps in employment history to ensure a complete and accountable five year history
  • Proactively assess applications to identify risks and escalate them appropriately to the relevant Thomas Cook management teams
  • Daily prioritisation of workload and tasks to ensure the timely receipt of requested information

     

Key Performance Indicators:

 

  • Ensuring delivery of ID process in line with operational timescales
  • Sending out the reference links within timescale targets
  • Completing applications to ensure no negative effect on the operation

 

 

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

 

Must have:

  • Ability to follow detailed and lengthy procedures with a good eye for detail
  • Highly skilled in problem solving and able to take a proactive approach in escalating and resolving complex issues
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word Target driven and able to cope under pressure working to tight deadlines
  • Strong communicator and confident in challenging
  • Be able to take accountability for delivery of results
  • Be able to travel
  • Highly organised with an ability to process sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
