Part-Time Programmer/Support for small specialist Software House working with Housing co-ops and Associations

What are you going to do

Work as part of our small team (2 others) on .Net project in VB. Also take a share of telephone support to clients (2 or 3 calls a day).

All our staff work from home or their own working space. We have shared online office space, and use GitHub to co-ordinate the project.

Chics has been going for over 20 years. Website We have 5 staff all part-time, and about 80 client organisations across the country, most in London.

We would like to move towards attracting clients further afield in Europe
or perhaps farther overseas.

We think them right candidate will find the work rewarding and expect that they will stay with us to make a long term contribution.

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels A good programmer may not need A levels
  • Work on own initiative - v important
  • Preferably IT or math qualification
  • None necessary - demonstration of ability
  • Good knowledge of VB in .Net environment
