About The Role

We are looking for Payroll Service Delivery Analysts working in the People Services team, based at our head office in West Yorkshire. This is a fixed term / secondment opportunity for 12 months.

The person in this role will ensure all payroll processes and reporting are completed in a timely and accurate manner. They will work to set deadlines, KPIs and SLAs, ensuring any escalations are raised timely. Working as part of a team is really important in this role, as well as communicating effectively and professionally.

Accountabilities for this role include:

Customer

  • Adhere to all audit requirements and changes to procedures.

  • Support to ensure all key controls and compliance metrics are met and any escalations raised timely.

  • Fully compliant with all legislative requirements.

  • Contribute to ensuring a first class service to all customers (internal & external) is delivered.

  • Support Service Delivery Manager and team colleagues in ensuring all SLA’S are met

  • Communicating effectively, timely and professionally.

  • Working methodically to achieve deadlines and targets.

Colleague

  • Working as a team, providing support for colleagues and Service Delivery Manager

  • Ensuring a positive and proactive approach towards business change initiatives.

  • Promoting Ways of Working

Operational

  • Ensure all payroll processes and reporting are completed as requested.

  • Manage escalations where possible and raise with Service Delivery Manager where unable to resolve without support.

  • Building and maintaining a working partnership with our Outsourcing partner to support continuous process improvement ideas.


Sales, Profit and Cash

  • Support in ensuring the payroll is run in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Work with Service Delivery  Manager to review processes and any improvements on a regular basis to support cost efficiencies.

About You

Knowledge

  • Experience and knowledge of working within a Shared Services environment.

  • Understanding and adherence of UK Legislation


Skills

  • An awareness of continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

  • IT skills in MS and Google applications

  • Good knowledge of payroll end to end processes  including Real Time Information, P11D and PSA

  • A current understanding of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP and SHP

  • GDPR awareness

  • Excellent  communication skills

Experience

  • Ability to work in a fast paced pressurized environment,.

  • Ability to work in a team and independently.

  • Experience in using PeopleSoft v9.0 and/or Oracle Cloud HCM systems is advantageous
