PwC’s Sales and Marketing Team

Areas covered range from strategic marketing (campaign delivery, content creation and digital advertising), through to proposition development, proposal support, event management, corporate hospitality and market research.

The Sales and Marketing team are focused on supporting the development and delivery of PwC’s market strategy - specifically, driving revenue growth, enhancing relationships and networks, and creating a distinct brand experience for our clients.

You’ll develop the foundations of a marketing and business development career aligned to one of our regional, industry, or line of service business areas. We’re an innovative, creative and fun team operating at a fast pace to react to market trends, take advantage of commercial opportunities and provide insight back into the business.

It’s a very hands-on role and the experience is gained by delivery and “doing” rather than sitting next to someone watching what they do. It will be challenging, exciting, fast-paced and most of all, rewarding. The nature of the role also provides opportunities to develop other “soft skills” which are highly valued by employers such as teamwork, leadership and influencing skills amongst others.

Key responsibilities and skills will include:

  • Providing support on the best practice approach to marketing campaigns as defined by the team and adhering to our quality and brand standards.

  • For those based in our regional offices, you will have the opportunity to influence the marketing strategy in that particular region, including ideas on how best to address key issues and challenges in the local community

  • Proactively seeking to learn about different marketing channels and bringing new and innovative ideas on how we can engage most effectively with our key audiences and stakeholders

  • Working alongside our digital team to monitor and create social media campaigns for our corporate channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram

  • Supporting on content creation including email campaigns, presentations, blogs and other relevant promotional material

  • Working with the online team to monitor our web page activity, including analysing data and using the insight to make informed decisions on the design and content strategy

  • Supporting on the organisation of events and the management of agency relationships and sponsorships

  • Demonstrating active use of our Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce) to support business development activities, including recording client opportunities and actively contributing to the management information for clients

  • Attending both internal and external training sessions and seminars to broaden your sales and marketing knowledge
