Top10VPN is the world’s leading VPN review site whose goal is to make digital privacy simple for everyone. We need some help to deliver our next big technical research project, so you’ll be working with our head of research to test software and carefully log the results for later analysis. Work around your studies over a two-week period in our beautiful Clerkenwell penthouse office with great transport links to the rest of London.
As one of two technical research assistants, you will be joining the Top10VPN research team for the data collection phase of its current project. We will agree working hours with the successful candidates that fit around their studies but expect you will be working with us for one to two weeks.
You will apply a set testing methodology to examples of a particular category of consumer software, using a combination of mobile and desktop devices.
You will carefully log and collate the results in a manner that allows for efficient analysis by our senior researchers later in the project.
It's a great opportunity to get some experience of what goes into a high-profile consumer advocacy campaign and spend time with experienced professionals in the field.

There are two vacancies for the this project-based role. The project duration is expected to be up to two weeks but in practice, it could be a little longer or shorter.
Employment will be on a freelance basis and the successful candidates' will be required to invoice the company for payment
We conduct regular research and successful candidates who make a valuable contribution may be asked back for future projects.
