Social Media/Marketing and Administration Intern required (Unpaid)

We’re looking for an energetic individual who is happy to jump in at the deep end, who that has a keen interest in social media/children’s education and has the desire to learn on the job. You will get the opportunity to delve into the world of social media whilst also taking charge of the every day administrative tasks that go into running a start-up. We’re a small close-knit team and we’re happy to give you the training and experience needed to help you further yourself in your career.

20 - 38 hours per week
Between £0.01 and £0.10 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Admin

You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day running's of the company, helping to run our customer support services, engaging with our clients requests and providing extra support to the team.

  • Providing excellent customer service for our schools and clients.
  • Organising our database system.
  • Managing our Learner Management System (LMS) and assisting schools/teachers/distributors with any enquiries.
  • General administrative office duties such as maintaining files, organising documents.
  • Nurturing existing relationships with customers.
  • Help with editing, proofreading our content / books.

Social Media

You will be responsible for not only managing our social media and marketing accounts but also our strategy for upcoming trade shows, events and special dates. You will also be in charge of building up a following online.

  • Management of all of our social media platforms such as - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube.
  • Create a social media strategy for both Picaro World and EdTech Lobby for the up and coming educational sales promotional period.
  • Manage our websites.
  • Think of creative, jazzy campaigns, design, plan and prepare the content to be presented on our social media platforms.

  • At least finished college A levels
  • Awareness of social media trends and strategies.
  • Knowledge of how to engage with fans and followers in order to build a strong community.
  • Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to deliver on time.
  • Must be able to handle a fast paced and high-pressured environment.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • High level of English speaking/writing.
  • Needs to be able to work on own initiative.
