About The Role
Can you make the cut? We are recruiting for Manufacturing Production Operatives across our 3 Meat Processing sites; Spalding in Lincolnshire, Colne in Lancashire and Turriff in Aberdeen Scotland.

Your role will include:
  • Working in an Abattoir environment where you will be responsible for the preparation of animal carcasses which are then passed to the skilled Butchers and workers. This work varies but would generally include basic knife skills ensuring limited damage/waste and contamination. 
  • Working at pace and working as a team to achieve production targets on a daily basis.
  • Your role may also include packing and distribution of the meat product.
  • Maintaining a high level of health & safety, hygiene and food quality standards.

About You
Previous experience is not essential and full training will be given. However, we do look for someone with a positive/can do attitude. 
We also look for people who can work at pace and as a team. 
There also may be occasions where you would be expected to lift and carry heavy weights.
 
Please note: this is an Abattoir / Slaughterhouse environment.
