Technology Specialist - Project Management Office in Bradford

We’ve got an opportunity for a Technology Specialist to join our PMO team within Technology, based at our head office in Bradford. It's an exciting time to join this fast paced work environment.

Working as a member of the PMO team you will facilitate key governance assurance and controls for major change projects, ensuring adherence to the Morrisons Delivery Framework as well as developing and managing the project planning tool.  

Here at Morrisons you will do the following;

• Supporting the delivery of programmes and projects across Technology

• Responsible for the design and rollout of the Atlassian project management toolset across Technology

• Support and train users in the project management tool

• Delivering a programme of continuous improvement within the PMO

• Governing the adherence to Morrisons Methodology & PMO standards and processes

• Support the project managers with planning, reporting, budgeting and risk management

• Production of MI & reports

• General PMO tasks including meeting preparation, coordination and facilitation

• Recruitment and onboarding of Technology contractors

To succeed in the role, you should have:

• Previous experience as a PMO Analyst or in the project space

• Experience in project delivery, planning and  risk management

• Reporting and MI

• Some experience of working in a Retail/IT environment would be beneficial

• Previous experience of successful control and delivery of projects, whilst supporting, cross-discipline teams, using defined project management processes

• Experience of developing relationships with multiple stakeholders

• Experience of using a project management tool, preferably Jira and Confluence
