At the newly opened Curve Cafe our goal is to engage with students and create a home-away-from-home in the heart of East London. We believe that the key ingredient to our success is not only delicious food and coffee, but incredible staff. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent customer service skills and are looking kickstart your career in Hospitality industry, then now is the perfect time to join Hungry Nest at The Curve Cafe.
THE ROLE
- Deliver top rate customer services at all times
- To prepare and serve coffee and food
- Contribute to smooth daily running of the store, including maintenance and cleaning
- Come up with new ideas for events to engage with residents of The Curve
- Starting date: early January
- Minimum length: 6 months with option to extend
- 40 hours/week. Shifts to be confirmed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Ability to demonstrate superior customer service
- Outstanding communication skills
- Have passion for coffee industry
- Be honest and straightforward whilst having an engaging personality
- Have attention to detail with a can-do attitude approach to work
- Want to build a career in the London coffee industry
- Fluent English
- Speaking more than one language is a plus
