Graduate Trainee

We are looking for an energetic graduate to join us in an entry level position, to build a successful career at our Booking Agency.

What are you going to do:

The Company:

We are one of the most experienced and successful celebrity booking agencies in the UK, working with leading PR agencies, companies and charities to identify and secure on-brand celebrities for their red carpet events, endorsements & campaigns. We use our extensive knowledge and experience of the celebrity, media and PR worlds, together with our unique, long-standing relationships with celebrities and their representatives, to deliver the faces that garner the maximum press coverage and social media reach whilst reflecting the brand and brief we receive.

The Position:

In our tenth year of operation, we have reorganised as a company and as part of a planned expansion we are offering a one-year, paid internship for an energetic graduate seeking entry into the exciting and competitive media industry, with an opportunity for a full position at the end of the internship.

The position is exciting and varied, and the successful candidate will learn and develop skills, make wide-ranging contacts, and gain invaluable industry experience. The successful candidate will be working alongside and liaising with different people throughout the media world; PR and Events companies, advertising agencies, media organisations and international charities; celebrities and their agents, publicists, management teams and PAs; press and media, photographers and bloggers.

The Role:

Conducting research relating to celebrities and celebrity culture, producing reports, biographical shorts, creating and updating ideas lists

Updating our databases of celebrity contact information

Constructing and managing databases of event invitees and endorsement targets

Communicating with celebrities and their representatives regarding participation in events and engagements

Attending red carpet events and media engagements, helping to coordinate arrivals, facilitate media participation, liaising with clients, celebrities, representatives, media and photographers

Producing post-event analysis, compiling traditional and social media coverage and sourcing photographs of celebrity attendees

Developing relationships with current and new clients and contacts

The Successful Candidate:

University graduate in a business, PR or media-related subject

Very knowledgeable and interested in current celebrities and celebrity culture

Superbly confident, sociable with very good written and verbal communication skills

Highly driven, able to work independently, reliably and enthusiastically

Well-organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in MS Office (MS Outlook and MS Excel in particular) and highly competent in navigating online information and social media platforms

Entirely trustworthy and discreet in handling confidential data and details
