Technical Analyst – Quality Assurance (Produce) in Bradford

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Analyst (Produce) to join the team at our Head office in Bradford. To report quality and safety management information to enable the Technical team to effectively deliver Morrisons’ standards, as well as organise and drive the quality check programme which determines key decisions that impact on quality for customers. The outcome is that customer’s safety is protected and prosecution/ brand damage is avoided.

Knowledge Required:

• IT literate with expertise in data systems and analysis

• Working knowledge of HACCP to support product safety

Skills Required:

• Ability to plan and influence Technical and Trading teams to ensure deadlines are met

• Control of supplier approval data

• Excellent communication skills for report writing

• Sense of taste and customer awareness to intervene in Quality panels if team drift off agenda to reinforce need to uphold customer expectations

• Tenacity to follow up and resolve issues, and improve systems and processes in a drive to reduce admin burden

• Driving licence for doing shopping at competitor retailers
