CEPA GmbH is looking for coordinators in London

As a CEPA coordinator we ask you to not only focus on the logistics of the tour, but to create an unforgettable experience for our student groups. You will be a part of our team at CEPA to help students and faculty leaders to discover London through educational travel.

5 - 25 hours per week
Between £10.00 and £14.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

A coordinator can be described as tour escort rather than a guide who is knowledgeable in history or similar. Duties of a coordinator include, but are not limited to, airport pick-up, chaperoning the group during organized activities, assistance with hotel check-in, emergencies, problems, transportation questions, ranslation/language

and cultural barriers, distributing city maps, pre-ordered tickets, cash allowances, etc. He /she would take care of all the logistics so that the faculty leaders can focus on the academic part of the program.

  • At least finished high school
  • Fluency in English
  • Very good organizational and communication skills
  • Applicants should live in or near London and be knowledgeable about their city
  • Distinctive service orientation and ability to deal with stressful circumstances
  • Very good problem-solving skills
  • Reliability, flexibility, and open-mindedness
  • Experience in similar jobs preferred
  • No particular certificate needed
  • Ideally Tourism/Hospitality students

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver a high level of customer service and traveler satisfaction

Provide detailed information about London and its public transportation system and give suggestions about what to do in the region

Take care of the logistics of the tour (e.g. lead the group to the business/cultural visits, airport/train pick-up etc.)

Orientation walking tour and introduction to the English culture on the arrival day

Deal directly with students' issues and/or concerns and be their contact person for questions, problems, and emergencies (e.g. seeing a doctor)
