You will be helping the marketing and events team in the run up to our Tomorrow's Tech Leaders Career's Fair 2019. This is an exciting event aimed at women at university or recently graduated, taking place on the 30th January. You will mainly help the marketing team contact delegates to ensure their attendance on the day and aid in any other tasks that may arise in the run up to the event.
The proposed working hours will be 9.00 to 17.30 daily. The position will be for 3 working days near London Liverpool Street station, with one hour of lunch unpaid.
The candidate will be making phone calls to a list of pre-registered delegates to give them final information regarding the event Tomorrow's Tech Leaders, that will be taking place on 30th January 2019. The candidate will be calling to give all information to the delegate regarding start times, order of the day, attendees and exhibitors, how to find the venue and what to expect at the event on the day, along with other information. They will also answer any questions delegates may have and aid them in any way in regards to attending the event. The candidate will be given a full briefing and all information regarding the event beforehand.
The candidate will also help to build up our databases regarding our diversity events by researching and collating a list of people in the industry. They will fill in an Excel spreadsheet with the necessary information using LinkedIn and other methods to find suitable candidates. Again, full briefing and training will be given in regards to finding the relevant people.
We may also require help regarding coordination for the event itself. This may include mail merges of attendees using Microsoft Word. You may have to help in printing off name badges, separating and alphabetising name badges for the event. You may have to proof read and print programmes for the day event.
