Technology Specialist / Project Support in Bradford

We’ve got an opportunity for a Technology specialist - Manufacturing Delivery to join our manufacturing team within Technology, based at our head office in Bradford. It's an exciting time to join this fast paced work environment.

You will work in an integral role supporting technology colleagues across the manufacturing arm of our business. This role will involve working in a fast paced environment where you will be responsible for providing support to both internal stakeholders across all our manufacturing sites as well as head office.

Here at Morrisons you will do the following;

• New starter onboarding, tracking contractor expiration dates and arranging extensions / systems access

• Finance tracker maintenance (including reviews with PMs)

• Creation of Purchase orders

• Arranging meetings and recording meeting notes / actions and driving actions to completion

• Supporting Technology managers and senior managers with other appropriate support that may be required

• Take Lead on Risk, Audit actions working alongside colleagues across Technology

• Stakeholder engagement, including external suppliers/contractors

• Ownership of incident/issue updates to Manufacturing business teams, stores and suppliers

• Provide clear direction to customers (colleagues)

• Support the business, sometimes outside of the usual core working hours for which time off in

To succeed in the role, you should have:

Knowledge

• Good knowledge of project management processes and procedures

• Good awareness of  technology although training can be provided to upskill in particular areas

• Previous experience of working with outsourced Technology teams (desirable)

• Understanding of Manufacturing/Supply Chain and working practises alongside operations experience an advantage

Experience

• Knowledge of project management principles

• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects

• Awareness of technology

• Manufacturing experience desirable

• Experience on managing a broad range of tasks and prioritising is essential
