Proper Little Parties are looking for fun, energetic and outgoing people to host themed children’s parties. You'll love working with children, and be punctual, reliable and eager to learn. Own transport required. Experience working with children preferred, but not essential. We'll provide successful applicants with training, costumes and party materials.
Proper Little Parties delivers great value for money themed kids parties that delight guests and keep parents coming back year after year. We are always looking for fun, energetic entertainers who love working with kids to join the party crew.
You can enjoy the freedom of working wherever you like, working as many or as few hours as you like. We will provide all of the training and equipment you need.
We have a simple, 5 step process. At no point will we ask you to pay any money. Some experience working with kids is ideal but not essential. You must be reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
Step 1 - Apply by email
If you think you've got what it takes, email us with a copy of your CV and your contact details. Please also tell us in your email why you think you'd make a good entertainer.
Step 2 - Attend a training day
If we think you're a good match, we will invite you to a training day. There is no cost for the training but you will need to pay your own travel expenses. The training is also an opportunity for us to get to know you and to make certain you can deliver the quality parties Proper Little Parties is known for.
Step 3 - Onboarding
We will help you to create a profile on our website. We will send you all of the equipment you need to start entertaining - costumes, music, PA system, consumables. If you have any questions or concerns, we are there to help.
Step 4 - Set your schedule and start entertaining
Through our clever online system, you can set your availability for bookings. Tell us when you want to work and what area you want to cover. Obviously, the more available you are, the more bookings you will receive. When a customer chooses you as their entertainer you will receive an email notification. You can also log in at any time to view your bookings.
Step 5 - Start earning
You will be paid monthly for every party you have completed during that month. We will pay you as an employee through PAYE so you don't need to worry about completing a tax return. If you work enough hours you will also be entitled to holiday pay.
