Do you want to gain very valuable experience in a dynamic and quality led environment for an online magazine? If yes, we have a voluntary internship with full training and support to help you develop into a versatile features writer for our award-winning online publication.
In this role, you will be fully encouraged and trained to develop very valuable skills in an online environment, supported by the senior editorial team.
You will need excellent skills in written/spoken UK English, good proof-reading skills and the ability to work to tight timescales.
Areas of lifestyle writing can include Arts & Culture, Fashion, Gaming, Technology, Health, Fitness, Beauty, Food, Film, TV, Bollywood, Sport and Trends.
Awareness of British and South Asian culture (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi etc.), and lifestyle will be very advantageous but not essential.
We have an online development programme for interns to get valuable editorial experience in developing skills for online journalism and digital media.
You will be joining the programme, if accepted, after interview.

The role will require you to attend our Birmingham office at least 1 or 2 days per week in order for you to get full work experience of an editorial environment.
