Editorial Intern in Marlborough

Adam Matthew Digital is pleased to announce a number of new publishing internship opportunity within our Editorial and Copyright Departments.

7 - 37 hours per week
£7.83 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

This internship will offer the successful candidate(s) the chance for hands-on experience working closely with both the Editorial Development, Production and Copyright teams. Over the course of your time here, you will take on a wide variety of tasks and assignments that will give an excellent insight into the inner workings of a digital academic publishing company.

Adam Matthew Digital is an award-winning digital publisher of academic resources in the humanities and social sciences.

Our editorial team works across a range of subject areas including literature, history and cultural studies and we're looking for an intern with a passion for history and humanities and an interest in furthering a career in academic publishing. With over twenty-five years of publishing experience, Adam Matthew has built a reputation for creativity, producing unique primary source collections sourced from libraries and archives across the world.

Applicants should:

  • Possess or be working towards a degree in the arts and humanities and have a strong academic background
  • Have an excellent command of written English
  • Be an effective team player
  • Be highly organised, and able to manage tasks independently to deadlines
  • Have an interest in the potential of digital resources as an education and research tool

Our Opportunities:

We have a number of opportunities for paid placements in 2019. We are currently looking to recruit for the following internships:

- Editorial Development Intern (10DEVMAR19) - 1 day a week placement, over a 10 week period

- Editorial Copyright Intern (10COPMAR19) - Full time placement, over a 6 week period
