Promote New Internationalist face-to-face on campus, and at events around the region. This includes marketing the magazine, as well as talking to students about issues ranging from inequality and climate change to human rights.
New Internationalist run stalls and workshops at various events throughout the year. Events vary from International Development conferences to vegetarian fairs to political conferences to music festivals. Most often though, we do stalls in university student unions.
You would promote New Internationalist magazine on those stalls to students and the public. It involves talking about the magazine and what it stands for: social and environmental justice.
Doing workshops is an optional part of the job and requires a more in depth understanding of the relevant issue.
It may involve some travel in your region.
