Festival Stewards in Hay-on-Wye

We’re looking for a team of dedicated stewards to help us run the world’s largest philosophy and music festival - HowTheLightGetsIn.

20 - 30 hours per week
Between £0.00 and £1.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

If you would like the opportunity to hear some of the world’s leading thinkers, plus access to incredible live music, then we want to hear from you. In return for their shifts, stewards get a festival pass which gets them access to all the festival's incredible debates and events. Although we can't provide food for staff, all stewards get a jammy discount at the festival eateries along with a free camping pace on the festival campsite.

On shifts, stewards help keep the festival tick - check tickets, man the doors of events and act as the first contact point for all our visitors. Shifts are full on and fast paced, but also very rewarding and the friends you make on the stewarding team are ones that last!

What we offer:

  • Camping space
  • Festival pass
  • Discounts on food and drink
  • This is a voluntary position - no wage will be given

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels
  • Organised
  • Friendly
  • Motivated
