Role: MSC Maintenance Liaison Controller

 

Location: Manchester Hangar

 

Working Hours: 37

 

Job Purpose: Control of company assets during outsourced maintenance events and materials cost effective service provision to protect RTS of fleet aircraft

  

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide on-site representation at third party facilities, acts a as a focal point and interface between TCAE and the contracted MRO
  • Provides detailed daily status reports and feedback to liaison engineer during all outsourced base maintenance activities and notifies MSC senior management of any issues in relation to high cost material, potential delays in return to service and safety issues.
  • Ensure all relevant transactions / inputs are updated on AMOS accurately  (including outgoing despatch notes, airway bill information, material provided direct to the MRO from the supplier
  • Remain conversant with the contractual obligations of the MRO with regard to the contents  of the Aircraft Maintenance support and interface agreements and ensures these are adhered to
  • Processing of all outsourced Base Maintenance invoices in a timely manner, keeping detailed spreadsheet records of all invoices.
  • To be cost conscious and challenge suppliers to minimise costs to TCG
  • Maintains awareness of all relevant company procedures, including EASA & CAA regulations and ensures all are adhered to during aircraft heavy maintenance inputs
  • To carry out tasks as detailed by the Heavy Maintenance Liaison Manager and MSC management team and other tasks as requested by MSC management

 

 

Key Performance Indicators

  • On time RTS in relation to material requirements
  • On time processing of all invoices and recharges
  • Outsourced base maintenance input pre-loads are managed correctly

 

 

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

 

Must have:

 

  • Takes ownership and is able to work unsupervised
  • Flexibility in approach to work, will be required to travel abroad for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge of contracts and regulations
  • Aviation material purchasing experience
  • Strong communication, organisation and negotiation skills

 

Preferred:

  • Heavy maintenance experience

     

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations

 

  • Experienced user of Microsoft office
  • AMOS
  • Must hold a valid passport
