What are you going to do:
Company description: Studio Cambridge provides English language and activity courses in the summer to overseas students aged 8–19 in five locations in the UK: Cambridge, Ely, Bishop’s Stortford, Richmond and Reading. We are looking for residential and non-residential summer staff to assist in running these centres.
All positions are temporary for summer 2019, working with overseas students aged 8-19.
Activity Organisers and House Managers
Job description:
- Supervising students in sporting, arts and crafts and cultural activities
- Supervising and providing tours for groups of students on excursions
- Providing pastoral care for students living in residences
Person requirements:
- Excellent communication skills essential
- Enthusiastic and confident nature essential
- Interest in sports, arts and crafts and/or cultural activities essential
- Experience of working with the age group is preferable
- First aid and / or sporting certificates an advantage
- Knowledge of area local to the centre is helpful
Course Directors and Assistant Course Directors
(Welfare Officers, Activities Coordinators, Teaching Coordinators)
Job description:
- Managing staff and overseeing the smooth running of the centre
- Overseeing activities and excursions or accommodation and welfare or teaching
Person requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure essential
- Excellent organisational skills essential
- Excellent communication skills essential
- Microsoft Office skills are essential
- Experience of managing or organising educational centres is preferable
EFL teachers
Job description:
- Teaching English and supervising activities and excursions
Person requirements:
- A degree and CELTA (or Trinity equivalent) or PGCE / Bed
What we offer:

- Start dates: Various start dates between 22 June and 15 July 2019 (majority of positions start 29 June and 6 July)
