Technology and Investments

We’re helping our clients and our organisation to survive and thrive in the face of rapid technological change. We’re welcoming graduates to join Technology and Investments (T&I) to support a growing team led by Jon Andrews, Executive Board member for Technology and Investments. T&I is central to the delivery of the Firm’s strategy to become the leading tech-enabled professional services organisation.

We work with our clients and PwC teams to develop innovative technology solutions to problems, using our business understanding and human insight. Working with a range of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Blockchain and Drones.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a number of these areas over a two year period before you specialise in your chosen field. Day to day, you may be working on a mixture of client projects and research and development projects. This may involve:

  • Working with T&I Leaders and Drivers in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Drones to develop and drive our strategy

  • Assisting with the project management of different initiatives: helping with project plans; keeping track of deadlines, responsibilities and accountabilities; driving actions to achieve desired outcomes

  • Supporting the Technology and Investments Manager with the running of the Technology and Investments team

  • Building strong relationships and communicating effectively with our senior stakeholders

  • Preparing presentations and papers on a variety of topics and for a variety of audiences, including the preparation of updates and reports for the Executive Board and other leadership groups

  • Working with Google Suite, Excel, Word and Powerpoint, as well as richer tools for data manipulation

What you need to get in

  • On course for a 2.1 degree (or already have one) in any STEM subject (either from a more generalist background with a passion for technology or from a deep technical background)

  • Able to demonstrate experience working innovatively

  • A self-starter who is capable of working on their own as well as in a team

  • Capable of operating in a sometimes ambiguous, but always changing and dynamic environment
