Anna Mae’s is an established street food company; we are London’s original Mac N Cheese dealers. We feed the hungry at all sorts of events from markets to music festivals, bar mitzvahs and birthdays. We are looking for an enthusiastic, food loving people to join our amazing summer crew working across some awesome events.
What's the job?
Working front of house on our stall or truck preparing and serving our food to customers and maintaining our high standards
Ensuring the quality of our food is always 100%. This is incredibly important to us and on which we have built our reputation
Helping with the set up, building and setting down of our stall or truck
To learn our Health and Safety practices and follow these closely
Working with an awesome team in a fast paced, collaborative environment at some amazing events around London and the UK - we work long hours and the work is physical, but it is dynamic and super fun
There's opportunities to be involved in all aspects of what we do from drawing up menu boards, creating recipe ideas to designing t-shirts taking pictures for our Instagram feed - we love a team effort and value everyone that works with us
Who are we looking for?
You must be prepared to travel. We are based in London and travel to festival from our unit so you need to be able to get to us OR be able to meet us at the festival directly
Someone flexible with their time – we work lots of evenings and weekends. Plans can also change last minute so you need to be able to roll with that, its definitely not a 9-5 job
You need to turn up on time, be presentable, well organised and reply to emails promptly - this is super important
Some cooking ability/bar/food service/hospitality/event experience is useful
Lovely manners and a friendly disposition, you need to have excellent people skills and want to work in a close team, representing us and what we do to the best of your abilities
Someone who has initiative, wants to learn and can get stuck in to all sorts of tasks - this is a very practical role and no day is the same
A happy camper – we camp in fields a lot!
