Role: Ground Ops Pre Ops Executive – (Maternity Cover)

 

Location: Manchester Hangar

 

Working Hours: 37.5

 

Job Purpose: Support the Thomas Cook Group Airline in disruption situations and provide accurate information to our handling agents related to customers and flights.                           

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify Group Airline overbooked flights, source alternatives, identify stations and rebook where necessary
  • Manage stock levels and audit loading of Travel Welfare/Compensation Cards
  • Produce and manage communication templates for disruption situations. Maintain templates within 15below. 
  • Send disruptive passenger notifications and immigration refusals
  • Provide reporting and auditing of operational documentation.
  • Monitor and record costing associated with disruption and overbookings.
  • Provide support to GHC in extreme disruption upon request
  • Liase with System support in FRA
  • Maintain FTP server ensuring sharer names are fully ingested
  • Maintain TOMS system for accurate file processing.
  • Work with in-house and third party tour operators to process customer data
  • Provide handling agents accurate and timely passenger information
  • Support service centres with any Pre-flight queries
  • Manage seating changes prior to departure

     

Key Performance Indicators:

 

  • Accurate data sent to handling agents in a timely manner to reduce check-in issues
  • Work with tour operator and sharers to find solutions to on-going issues
  • Successful handling of overbooked flights
  • Cost Controlling

 

 

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

 

Must have:

 

  • Altea system knowledge
  • Experience in Aviation industry
  • Ability to problem solve and react to change dependent upon circumstance
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in communicating effectively with internal & external customers

 

Preferred:

 

  • Colibri Knowledge
  • TOMS system knowledge

     

 

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations:

 

  • Microsoft Office Suite
