Factory Operative in Oldcotes

We are looking for Production Operatives to work in our Frozen Food Factory in Oldcotes/Blyth area. Paid weekly, depending on age but above minimum wage Own Transport Essential

What are you going to do

No experience is necessary, the work involves inspection of frozen vegetables to remove foreign objects, stacking of boxes, loading vehicles, Quality Control, cleaning down of the packing line.

Protective clothing will be provided.

We are a family farming business, growing our own crops for harvest and processing.

We are half a mile down a tarmac lane away from public transport so own transport is essential.

Our busiest time is between June - end August when we harvest our pea crop, our factory runs 24hours/day, 7 days a week during that 8 week period so overtime is available if required.

What we offer

  • Transport is essential as we are on a farm, half a mile down a lane but not near any plublic transport stops
  • We offer a salary paid weekly direct into a bank account, depending on age but above the minimum wage
  • We have kitchen facilities but not a canteen/vending machines to you will have to provide your own food and drink

What we ask:

  • At least finished high school
  • No skills required as training will be given on site
  • No previous experience required as training will be given on site
