Meetrip, a tourism start-up, is looking for two business/commercial development interns to recruit and lead a network of tourist guides in the UK. Meetrip is working to become the revolutionary leader in leisure tourism (first platform of world-wide guides and tourist activities).
Meetrip is a start-up developed by the creator of Citycake, which was launched in 2011 and sold at the end of 2014 to Resto In Group (Room Service in London), the European leader in restaurant delivery services.
You’ll work as part of a team with seven other people (essentially technical and business development profiles) and you will:
· Undertake distance recruitment of professional guides in the UK
o Establish contacts with guide associations
o Prospect these guides and convince them to join the platform
o Understand local specificities (regulatory and legal)
· Develop extraordinary identification and recruitment activities (the “guidelines” are currently in development)
o Establish partnerships with extraordinary events in different fields (tours, monuments, sports, gastronomy, etc…) in most major cities
· Marketing
o Brainstorm on our arrival in the UK market
· Partnerships with UK tourism agencies
o Develop partnerships
Start of internship: From February 2015
Length of internship: 6 months
