Events/Marketing/Office Assistant, Europe

ETF.com is the leading provider of information on exchange-traded funds, the single fastest growing area of the financial services market. Where most of finance is staid, buttoned-up or arrogant, we are small and entrepreneurial, with just a hint of cool and fun around the edges.

Job description

We are looking for the most amazing office assistant/events producer/marketing support person to help our small but growing London team.  This person will have a variety of responsibilities -- some boring grunt work, some more exciting and higher level --- all aimed at being the glue that holds our office together. That means doing all the tasks that fall into the gaps and help to make us the best small (but growing) financial information provider in the world.

Will there be filing?  Yes, there will be filing. Will there be database work? Yes, there will be database work. We want whoever takes this job to know exactly what they're getting into, so we've listed out some core, non-glamorous job responsibilities below.

But while there will be drudge work and boring stuff that's needed to keep our office going, there will also be the significant opportunities that come with being in a small, global company (our HQ is in San Francisco) that's looking to take over the world in the fastest-growing corner of the financial industry.

If you're looking to put your foot on the ladder, dig in, and do the dirty work that’s necessary to succeed, we'll promise a bit of fun and the opportunity for advancement, at a company focused on doing the right thing for investors in the UK, Europe and beyond.

Interested?  Send us a CV and cover letter explaining why you should join our small team.

We look forward to meeting you.
