Forbury Homes is focussed on the letting and development of residential and commercial properties in Reading. The role involves supporting the owner from his home office in Tadley and occasional site visits.
The candidate will directly assist the owner in managing the company’s existing proprty portfolio and will also help with new property development projects. The role involves finding tenants, responding to tenant enquiries, coordinating maintenance and refurbishments and general administration. On the development side, you will need to help project manage the conversion of a retail site to residential use, which will involve assisting with design and implementation, while liaising with all stakeholders from lenders, architects, planning authorities, building control, various consultants and contractors.

A graduate with knowledge in property, architecture, surveying, town planning or building science/engineering is preferred though not essential. Willingness to learn all aspects of business operations and a high level of problem solving ability are essential. Must possess excellent people management skills and be highly organised and reliable.
