This study is being conducted by psychology PhD student Ella-Joy. I am based at London South Bank University and Richmond University.
The purpose of this study is to compare the performance of people with dyslexia and people without dyslexia on computer and paper-based tasks relating to executive function. Executive function is a collection of inter-related cognitive and self-regulatory processes that are responsible for problem-solving and goal-directed behaviour. Testing will take place over two 45 minute sessions with a short break in between.
If you require glasses, then please wear your glasses (or contact lenses).
If you have dyslexia, then you will need to show proof of your dyslexia diagnosis by means of your official letter from an educational psychologist.
This study has been reviewed and approved by the School of Applied Sciences Research Ethics Committee at London South Bank University.
