What are you going to do:

We are looking for motivated staff to support the running of weekend events and parties in The Hub, Lockleaze. The right candidate will be patient, friendly and organised, someone who enjoys working with people, is interested in supporting their local community and wants to earn some extra money at the weekend. The main aim of this role is to welcome and look after people who book our space, and ensure they have a positive experience for the duration of their booking. For some bookings, part of this role will mean facilitating the use of our bouncy castle or karaoke equipment for childrens parties, so a kind and patient attitude is needed!

We’re hoping for this role to grow as our events offer does, and there’s the potential for a more structured weekend reception role in the future. You’ll receive training in all the relevant policies around health and safety, fire evacuations, confidentiality and lone working. The role is on a zero hours contract. This means no fixed hours, but we contact events staff each week to check availability. We aim to give at least one weeks’ notice on any shifts, with the ability to refuse. We want the role to be flexible for you as well as us.
