Unique opportunity for student counsellors or art therapists wanting to make their mark on a placement in a Creative and friendly Further Education College in Birmingham City Centre with diverse students aged 16+.
A placement opportunity has arisen for a trainee counsellor or art therapist to meet the growing need for specialist mental health support in our centre through the provision of 1:1 and potentially group sessions in liason with our Additional Learning Support Team. This flexible placement is ideal for a student studying counselling, art therapy or relevant course with an interest in education and creativity. This placement can be built around your schedule and interests. Experience of working with young people learning disabilities advantageous but not essential.
