Digital Marketing (PPC and SEO Intern) in London Borough of Southwark

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our digital marketing team in London for 3 months. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of digital marketing. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of SEO and Google Adwords marketing campaigns and be expected to provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

20 - 40 hours per week
Between £8.00 and £10.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Gather and compile data for daily, weekly and monthly SEO and Google adwords reports using a variety of data sources including Google Analytics Research and update keyword rankings across a range of key content areas
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns using CRM systems
  • Assist in the keyword research and analysis of the website from an SEO perspective including identification of site issues, indexation issues, content or meta data issues, linking, google penalties, keyword opportunities.
  • Optimization of SEO website content to increase search ranking

Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Good understanding of basic SEO concepts including on-page optimisation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Passion for the digital marketing industry and its best practices
  • Technology /Business or Marketing degree as a minimal requirement
