Graphic Design Internship

3-month internship for suitable candidate with a passion for Graphic Design. Candidates must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

What are you going to do:

We have an exciting opportunity available for the right candidate to join our creative team. We are looking for a passionate and motivated graphic design intern with an interest in layout, to work on a wide range of projects here at The Lagoon Group. Applicants should be comfortable using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.


The initial internship contract is for 3 months with the potential to stay on. You will gain experience working on commercial licenses as well as in-house product packaging and concept ideas. We have opportunities to work on product, packaging, layout, web and video animation, print and marketing materials.  Coming to work with us will give you an opportunity to learn, to enhance your portfolio and to work on real products. You may be able to see some of your work in large retailers the following year such as Debenhams, Sainsbury's, Waterstones, etc.


Applicants should be excited to work on new projects and comfortable sharing their ideas with our small, fun and creative design team. Applicants should also have a graphic design degree, or be working towards a graphic design degree. 


The initial 3-month internship is unpaid but we do cover expenses such as travel and lunches. We are based in Richmond upon Thames and commuting distance must be reasonable in order to make the internship mutually beneficial. The hours would be 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible and can be changed to suit.

  • You should be registered as a university student studying Graphic Design, or be working towards a Graphic Design degree
