Retail Marketing Executive - Haven in Hemel Hempstead

Haven are currently recruiting for a Retail Marketing Executive to join our bright and breezy team.

As a team we have a passion for ensuring that our holidaymakers and home owners have the very best experiences whilst on park visiting our Food & Beverage outlets. 

As our Retail Marketing Executive, you’ll support the Retail Marketing Manager in delivering all our Food & Beverage marketing communications. This will include food and drink menus and marketing communications through a variety of channels, including printed point of sale, digital signage, emails, social media and websites. 
 
The purpose of the role is to:

•Support the delivery of F&B marketing communications with the following tasks:
1.Undertake monthly competitor analysis – what are our key competitors and the broader  sector doing
2.Project manage and lead on the delivery of the marketing activity calendar by  briefing marketing collateral to our studio, liaising with printers for production  and delivery and working with various teams, including digital and social media, to  deliver the activity across multiple platforms for guest engagement
3.Create marketing briefs for park teams on POS they will receive
4.Manage requests from parks and other teams for F&B marketing collateral and POS,  briefing artwork to studio and liaising with printers for production and delivery and  communicating with parks on their requirements
5.Upload new POS and digital assets to our online ordering system for parks
6.Project manage and support with the creation and delivery of all F&B menus and  marketing collateral
7.Lead and brief in-house photoshoots with our studio
8.Support with weekly admin tasks to ensure the smooth running of the F&B Marketing team
9.Briefing multiple support teams on F&B activities to ensure maximum exposure across  multiple channels, including; social media, email, website, PR, owners and holiday  marketing
10.Build good and strong working relationships with key external agencies, in house  studio and teams across the business
•As and when required, to carry out ad hoc tasks or projects as required to assist the  wider F&B team. Set out and agree expectations and manage timely delivery. 
•Attend regular 121s with line manager.



To be successful you will be: 
•Must be proactive, starting projects, managing them and seeing them through end-to- end
•Strong attention to detail when reviewing marketing communications
•Experience in marketing, preferably within F&B but not essential
•A level head when working under pressure delivering consistent levels of accuracy and  quality of work
•Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
•The ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload
•Able to build strong working relationships with all team members, both at Hemel and  on the parks
•Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Excellent communication and listening skills are essential
•Able to work alone and as part of a team
•A full driving licence
•The ability (and be prepared to) travel and stay at parks when required

Desirable:
•Degree educated in a relevant subject field
•A self-starter with a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn more  and progress
•Naturally questionable and inquisitive
•Demonstrate the drive and passion to make a difference
•Commercially aware and able to interpret commercial data with support
