Theatre Support Worker

We are looking for cheerful and friendly individuals to join our Team of Theatre Support Workers within the operating theatres as a Theatre Support Worker at the University Hospital Lewisham

We take pride in the provision of a first class service to our local community. We provide a wide variety of surgical specialities in both elective and emergency surgery.

The role is to assist the trained Theatre staff with maintenance of an ultra clean environment as well as safe transport of patients to and from Theatre.

Important key elements will be moving and handling patients on beds and safe positioning of patients in theatre. Theatre Support Workers ensure a safe environment by cleaning floors and equipment, and maintaining stock levels.

You will need to possess good communication skills, both written and oral and be able to demonstrate an awareness of the importance of confidentiality.

Theatre support workers are expected to cover 24 hour shifts 7 days a week.
