Thank you for your interest in a post at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Every employee at the Trust strives to provide excellent patient experience every single time. We strive to be an excellent employer for every one of our employees from the day they apply for employment with us. Level 3 Business & Administration Apprenticeship

Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust is offering an exciting opportunity to join an Apprenticeship Scheme that provides an initial 18 month programme which will enable the development of knowledge, skills and the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification. The position will cover all Trust sites: Pinderfields Hospital, Pontefract Hospital, Dewsbury & District Hospital, and the wider community.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated outgoing person. The successful applicant would need to demonstrate great caring, communication and teamwork skills plus confidence and professionalism using the phone. All these skills will also be developed further as part of the apprenticeship programme. Subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship the successful applicant will have the skills and knowledge required to apply for any available vacant position.

This attracts a salary of £15596.25. All course fees will be paid for by the Trust. The apprentice will achieve an Apprenticeship in Business Administration which includes Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT level 2 (4-9, if not already held).

This is initially a fixed term 18 month contract with set milestones to be met. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, and adhering to Trust values, behaviours and HR policies, you would be eligible to be considered for the Band 3 vacancy.

Applicants must be eligible and willing to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship and hold GCSE grade 3-9 in English Language and Maths or equivalent qualifications.

There is an eligibility criteria for government funded apprenticeships which requires the applicant to be aged 16+, be a resident in the UK/EU for the last three years. Applicants cannot have achieved a qualification at level 3 or above in the same pathway as this will exempt them from being able to undertake the apprenticeship.
