Global Technology Infrastructure Services (GTIS) is a division of approximately 4,300 colleagues based globally. They are accountable for delivering and supporting resilient, secure infrastructure technology and services to customers, clients and colleagues
We are about to embark on a £400,000,000 journey to truly transform the IT infrastructure of Barclays. This is your opportunity to be part of a team that are becoming more service focused in their approach, adopting technology to create experiences.
As the TechBar Concierge Analyst, you will be part of the customer service team for internal employees, providing ongoing support for people who use the services provided by GTIS.
• Listening to customers, understanding their needs and provide innovate, tailored solutions
• Triage the flow of demand and direct colleagues to appropriate escalation engineer
• Provide technical advice and guidance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, promoting technology products and services
• Ensure TechBar Centre meets global standards, pre-opening and closure checks
• Logistics of devices: swapout/refresh
• Exposure of creative problem solving, taking the initiative to resolve potential issues
• Capable to provide user coaching and brief training on ‘how to’ queries
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence where necessary
• Able to prioritise tasks accordingly
• Knowledge of standard workplace technology (hardware, OS, mobile devices)
• Excellent level of attention to detail
