An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to start a career in medical engineering working in the Medical Physics and Engineering Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
We currently have Level 4 Healthcare Science Apprenticeship posts available within the Medical Physics and Engineering Department in Leeds. The successful candidates will participate in a 2 year training programme specialising in medical engineering. Formal training will be provided and apprentices will develop personal and professional skills whilst also developing skills and knowledge relating to the installation, maintenance, repair and management of medical equipment. Successful completion of the apprenticeship will qualify candidates to apply for and progress their careers within Medical Physics and Engineering.
The annual Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair is being held on the 3rd of February 2020 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds. If you attend the fair please visit the NHS stand and introduce yourselves to our clinical technologists and our current and past Medical Engineering Apprentices who will happily discuss our apprenticeship scheme and what opportunities it brings.
