Sales Assistant for market stall in London
We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, bubbly and reliable sales assistant to work flexible hours at our market stall on some weekends at Spitalfields market in Shoreditch Pretty Bee Fresh is a fast growing eco-startup producing bees wax wraps as a sustainable alternative to plastic and cling film thus helping people to live a more zero-waste lifestyle. Our wraps are sustainable, reusable, antibacterial and bio- degradable. They’re all unique, handcrafted using only the highest quality natural ingredients. We’ve had a tremendous first year of operations and need the right person to help us skyrocket Pretty Bee Fresh to the next level!
What are you going to do:
Your main duties will include selling our beeswax wraps, explaining the product to people, being helpful and professional, handling card as well as cash payments and representing the brand, company ethos and our core values at all times.
You’ll be setting up our market stall in the morning and breaking down in the evening (usually takes around 20mins). You’ll be running the stand on your own, though we’re always here to help you out with any questions you might have.
Given the nature of the job, we are looking for a truly trustworthy person who will be required to do a daily stock count at the end of each shift as well as a cash reconciliation.
Please note you need to be self employed for this position and responsible for your own tax!
- This is a very flexible role, perfect to fit around any other commitments you might have and we’re looking at around 2-4 days a month with the possibility for this to increase as we go along.
- There will be a paid half day trainings day Working hours Saturday: 9:45 - 17:15 Sunday: 8:45 - 17:15 Location: Spitalfields Market Rate: 10 p/h + travel.
