Escape Room builder needed

We at Houdini's Escape Rooms are looking to add a new member to our workshop team. We are opening new escape rooms at a rapid pace and need an enthusiastic individual to assist with building props, set dressing and set building for customers to interact with. You must be able to drive as you will need to visit sites both locally and occasionally, nationally.

8 - 40 hours per week
Between £6.00 and £7.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • You will be working closely with the workshop manager in a fully equipped workshop based in Totton.
  • In this role you will be given the opportunity to learn a very wide range of skills from mould-making and fiber-glassing to general carpentry and CAD work.
  • The hours you work are entirely negotiable to enable you to work around your studies, with the eventual possibility of full time employment.

In an applicant we are looking for someone who is:

  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Confident in using machines such as band-saws and hand-routers
  • Comfortable using hand-tools such as drills and saws
  • Happy to commute for occasional site-visits
  • Highly creative with a degree of autonomy
