Harlequin Home Care Ltd is one of the leading domiciliary care agencies in South Wales. We are a fast-growing care provider with excellent opportunities for growth within our company.
- We currently have full-time and part-time vacancies within Bridgend and Surrounding Areas.
- Experience is not essential but we are looking for individuals that want a career in care and in return, we will provide you with full training and good working conditions.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for personal care, shopping, meal preparation and other associated tasks within the individual's home, encouraging independence at all times.
- Various shift patterns are available between the hours of 7 am and 23:00 pm daily.
- Every other weekend availability is essential. This job description outlines the key performance indicators and output required from the Support Care Worker.
- It is not a definitive list and the role may well change and evolve over time.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Traveling to and from Individuals homes.
- Delivering personal care and support, including washing, dressing and using the toilet.
- Assist with errands - Assisting with attending personal appointments. Get to know Individuals (ie. Their likes and needs). Delivering companionship and friendship.
- Administering medication as and when needed - Undertake one to one personal care as and when requested by your Field Supervisor.
- Food preparation and assisting with feeding - Helping Individuals manage their budget, pay bills and correspondence - Help organise leisure activities.
- Work with other health and support providers as and when necessary - to be responsible for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
- To ensure you follow the company's policies and processes with regard to equal opportunities and discrimination - Undertake any other reasonable duties deemed appropriate by your manager.
Company Equipment provided as followed: Uniform (Scrubs) Company Mobile Phone PPE Electronic/Emailed Rotas on a weekly/fortnightly basis. Enrolment onto the Health and Social Care QCF Qualification. Benefits: Flexible working hours Free or subsidised travel Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent Salary: £8.21 to £9.00 /hour
