Graphic Design Placement

3-month internship for suitable candidate with a passion for Graphic Design. Candidates must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

30 - 35 hours per week

What are you going to do:

We have an exciting opportunity available for the right candidate to join our creative team. We are looking for a passionate and motivated graphic design intern with an interest in layout, to work on a wide range of projects here at The Lagoon Group.

Key responsibilities; 

  • The initial internship contract is for 3 months with the potential to stay on.
  • You will gain experience working on commercial licenses as well as in-house product packaging and concept ideas.
  • We have opportunities to work on product, packaging, layout, web and video animation, print and marketing materials.
  • Coming to work with us will give you an opportunity to learn, to enhance your portfolio and to work on real products.
  • You may be able to see some of your work in large retailers the following year such as Debenhams, Sainsbury's, Waterstones, etc.
  • Applicants should be excited to work on new projects and comfortable sharing their ideas with our small, fun and creative design team.
  • The initial 3-month internship is unpaid but we do cover expenses such as travel and lunches.
  • We are based in Richmond upon Thames and commuting distance must be reasonable in order to make the internship mutually beneficial.
  • The hours would be 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Please send a copy of your CV, cover letter and portfolio.

What we ask

  • At least finished university degree
  • You should be registered as a university student studying Graphic Design, or be working towards a Graphic Design degree
  • Creative flair and passion for graphic design
  • Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
  • Good organisational skills
  • No experience required
  • pplicants should be comfortable using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign
  • Applicants should also have a graphic design degree, or be working towards a graphic design degree
